Rules for 21km race and 11.5km race
- No personal seconding will be permitted and no vehicles will be allowed on the course apart from organizer's vehicles
- Runners must be over 16 years of age in order to run the 21 km race
- Runners must be self-sufficent and carry enough water and food to sustain them for the entire route. Carry your own water in either a hydration pack or hip-belt bottle holder. There are however, three water tables for the 21 km race, two for the 11.5 km race and one for the fun trail run.
- You are advised to carry a cellphone; make sure it is protected from water
- Race numbers must be worn on the front of your running vest. This will include an emergency number to contact if in the event of an accident.
- THOSE NOT WEARING THE CONSTANTIA SUMMER TRAIL RUN RACE NUMBER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RACE.
- DO NOT TAKE SHORT-CUTS - any person caught taking short-cuts or littering will be disqualified from all future Constantia Trail running events
- You are advised to bring a "waterproof" or "windproof" rain jacket to the race in case the weather conditions are severe; if it is sunny bring along a cap and sun lotion
- NO LITTERING. Please use the toilet facilities provided, prior to the race. However if desperate and nature calls during the race, please use the bush NOT THE VINEYARDS.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
